So here I am sitting on the couch in South West France contemplating, and trying to finalise what is to be taken on my 75 day Overland through Eastern & Southern Africa.
I spent most of the day gathering my vast collection of "stuff" from around the house that I have been collecting over the last month and to see it in one place for the first time is mind boggling, not just because of the shear amount of "stuff" but more along the lines of how the %*$# am I getting it all into an 88 litre backpack and where can I fit the portable projector I was wanting to take!
As if that wasn't the biggest problem it can't weigh more than 30kg or Turkish Airlines will take great pleasure in emptying my wallet for excess baggage (@ €10.00/kg) and I know my camera gear alone is weighing in at an "awesome" 11kg!.....DOH!!!
I think I'm getting a migraine!
Back to contemplating......:)
