Day 57 Nairobi to Cape Town
Thebe River Lodge, Kasane to Sedia Hotel, Maun
We were up at 04h30 to get ready for the long drive ahead. We loaded our gear into the truck and filled up on breakfast and coffee before leaving the campsite. It wasn't long before we encountered local wildlife by the roadside including a herd of Elephants, Gazelle and Warthog. We stopped for lunch next to a large Baobab tree for a well earned break before carrying on and eventually arriving in Maun mid afternoon to get supplies for the group heading off for 2 nights on an island in the Okavango. After the quick pit stop we drove 5km down the road pulling into Sedia Hotel around 17h00, checked in to our room (with A/C!) and settled in to a night of watching repeats of the News before passing outs.
