Day 58 Nairobi to Cape Town
Sedia Hotel, Maun We were woken up at 08h00 by an overly efficient housekeeping lady who wanted to clean our room for us and couldn't understand why we didn't but got the picture eventually.
Day 57 Nairobi to Cape Town

e were up at 04h30 to get ready for the long drive ahead. We loaded our gear into the truck and filled up on breakfast and coffee before leaving the campsite.
Day 55 Nairobi to Cape Town
Victoria Falls Rest Camp After a great nights sleep we were up and off to the Victoria Falls National Park. We stopped in at Shearwater Cafe for breakfast
Day 65 - Spitzkoppe Bush Camp
Departure was at first light, we had another long day ahead with our first stop at a Himba village.
The Himba are indigenous people with an estimated population of about 50 000 people. They are predominantly livestock farmers and count their wealth in the number of their cattle.
Day 64 - Halali Campsite, Atosha National Park to Cheetah Park
Packed and Ready to go at 5h30am, excited to do another safari before we say farewell to Etosha. We were let out of the campsite at 6h20am and started our morning game drive. We had driven for 45 minutes when we turned a corner and saw a Nomad Tours truck off to the side of the road, we slowed down, then pulled in front of them and as we looked for what they had stopped for saw under a fallen branch a leopard with its kill of the night, an impala.
Maun, Botswana to The Caprivi, Namibia
We were up early for our early departure from Maun. Al had the dreaded Malaria tablet, a bucket of water and 2 electrolyte tablets before getting on the road.
We left Maun behind and headed north west towards the Namibian border. Sad to be leaving Botswana but excited about Namibia!
